High value utilization and standard system construction of recycled aluminum industry

China's recycled aluminum production accounts for 20%, but there is insufficient high-end application. By using impurity element gradient removal technology (three-stage purification of melting refining filtration), the total amount of impurities in regenerated 6061 aluminum alloy is ≤ 0.15%, and its mechanical properties are equivalent to those of primary aluminum. It has been used in the manufacturing of automotive wheel hubs. The improvement of the standard system is key: GB/T 38472-2023 "Recycled Casting Aluminum Alloy" stipulates that the Fe content is ≤ 0.8% (traditional standard ≤ 1.2%), which forces the improvement of the accuracy of waste aluminum classification and recycling. The pilot project of Shunbo Alloy shows that the gross profit margin of high-purity recycled aluminum reaches 18%, which is 6 percentage points higher than that of ordinary products.
