The Environmental Transformation Path of Aluminum Surface Treatment Technology

Traditional chromate conversion coatings contain hexavalent chromium (Cr ⁶⁺), which is strictly restricted by REACH regulations. Breakthroughs were made in chromium free conversion technology: zirconium titanium composite film (Zr/Ti=3:1) was deposited by sol-gel method, and the corrosion resistance reached 960h neutral salt spray test; The treatment with silane coupling agent (KH-560) improves the adhesion of the coating to level 0 (GB/T 9286). Electrophoretic coating uses water-based acrylic resin, reducing VOC emissions to 20g/m ², which is 90% lower than solvent based coatings. After the transformation of the production line of China Aluminum Group, the cost of wastewater treatment has been reduced by 65%, and the annual production of hazardous waste has been reduced by 12000 tons.
